There was only one problem.... he hadn't brewed a pint of beer in all that time, spending his time in sales and marketing. Enter master brewer Sean Franklin, a friend of over 25 years, and former owner of the award winning Roosters Brewery in Harrogate and pioneer of Hoppy Pale Ales. Via a complete home brew kit in his garage, Peter learnt the art of brewing to complement his knowledge of the theory! LPA, Bermondsey Best and Harvard all have their routes to his garage.

eko
Founded by Anthony and Helena in 2018, Eko Brewery aims to produce unique tasting beers. During a 12 months secondment to America in 2013, Anthony and Helena were inspired by the micro brewery scene in the US and set out to create their own unique beer. Their research led them to discover traditional African brewing techniques and recipes. The result is a selection of enjoyable and authentic craft beers.
So why Eko? Eko is the original name of Lagos, the most populous city in Africa. Our co-founder, Anthony's ethnic background is Nigerian and his family are from Lagos – in the essence of going back to his roots, we decided on the name Eko.

nirvana
We’re an independent, family-run brewery based in Leyton, East London and our founders Becky and Andrew have been leading the low & no revolution since 2016.
It all started when Becky’s dad went teetotal. At the time, there were very few alcohol-free beers on the market, and Becky felt that people who choose not to drink shouldn’t be excluded socially. Becky just wanted to see her dad’s face light up again with a decent bottle of alcohol-free beer. And now Nirvana Brewery is doing it for thousands of low & no fans around the world.
Our brewery in East London is dedicated to one thing only: producing a wide range of great-tasting alcohol-free beers. We’re constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible and what tastes good by reinventing the classics and turning out more adventurous styles for the discerning alcohol-free drinker

Hiver began in 2013 after our Founder Hannah, went along to a honey tasting in Bermondsey. After asking if she could help out, she found herself bizarrely on the roof of the Tate Britain, helping to inspect a beehive. With a frame of bees in hand and a view over London to remember, this was the moment she thought 'I'd really love to do this again!'. She started researching all things bees and beekeeping and as she already worked in the brewing industry, she started tasting some honey beers too. And so the idea for Hiver came about!
